Suneel Gupta earned a B.S. in computer programming from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, an M.B.A. from the Northwestern Kellogg School of Management, and a J.D. from Northwestern Law School. Suneel co-founded and served as the CEO of Rise, a mobile health company that lowered the cost of quality care for thousands of patients. The company was acquired by One Medical. In 2016, First Lady Michelle Obama partnered with Rise to bring health coaching to low-income communities around the United States. Gupta has also worked in the following positions: Groupon - VP of product development, Mozilla – director of product development, MI Democratic coordinated campaign - field operations, Clinton White House - press office.
