Prior to joining the Center for International Development's Growth Lab in 2019, Eric Protzer worked on an Innovations for Poverty Action randomized control trial concerning Ghanaian labor markets, researched energy and technological change in the developing world at MIT, taught in Vanuatu, and helped build two tech startups. His research interests include the application of data science techniques to policy problems and the impact of technology on the economy.
